How to survive the hospital is a blog site designed to help people and their loved ones survive their stay in the hospital. For as good as many doctors and nurses are they are that many more that are not. This blog is to be used to gather your stories and advice and I emphasize advice on how you managed to to survive your stay in the hospital.
On May 14th our daughter suffered a horrendous automobile accident and spent the next two weeks in a coma, then moved to different floors in the hospital (Greenville Memorial in Greenville,SC) before moving to the rehab center (Roger C.Peace).
As my wife and I are both Doctors of Chiropractic, we are trained in many of the healing arts including energy work, positive mental energy, and many others. I am also a non-denominational minister and we are a very spiritual family. Since we are both doctors we were able to ask a lot of questions others may not have known to ask and as loving parents we were to put it mildly VERY INVOLVED in EVERY aspect of her care. We KNOW this helped.
In the coming days and years we will be posting how we survived the hospital and ask that you pass this blog site on to every one you know. We hope it will become a learning center as well as a healing center.
We warn you that this site will touch a lot of people and in many different ways. Do not get offended at peoples language, they are healing, do not feel attacked and please do not attack us - we are only trying to help keep people alive.
We wish you all the best.
